Sunday, December 14 – The day our family was coming for our Christmas celebration.

When I woke up and saw the snow, I hoped it wouldn’t keep anyone from coming to our family Christmas lunch.

As the sky got lighter and I saw the township snowplow (background) going by, I assumed that everyone would be okay. We live fairly deep in the country and next to the mountain, so when our road is open so are most of the others.

It was a beautiful, snowy landscape.

When breakfast was over, Cerwin (at the end of the driveway), Mark (closest), and Josiah opened the driveway. Cerwin took the easy job of using the snowblower while Josiah and Mark shoveled.

I went outside to get pictures of our woodlot. It was prettier than I expected.

Our Crape Myrtle bush looked pretty with snow and its winter seed pods.

It was truly a winter wonderland.
My next post will be of our family Christmas lunch.
It looks as if you’ve already had your white Christmas! How pretty it all is until somebody walks across it!
A very white Christmas on our Christmas celebration day.
Beautiful!!! We had some snow over here, but it was just city snow… Loved your photos! Inge
Yes. We had country snow. š
