Sunday October 26 in Maine

I always enjoy seeing Mark and Diane’s hydrangea.

This time it is in its fall colors.

I like this new yard decoration. It is made with melted (heated), painted, vinyl records.

We enjoyed going to morning worship at Wales Brethren Church, Wales, Maine. After that it was fun to participate in their “Guess Who Is Coming to Dinner”. Diane did not know where we were going until church was over and we were in the car. That is when we had permission to open the envelope that told us where we were going.

We had a delicious meal and great conversation at Nathan and Rebecca Meyers home and their five children (Elizabeth, Anna, Maria, Benjamin, and Keturah. The other two guests were Melvin and Tammy Hade.

In the afternoon Elizabeth (Mark and Diane’s oldest daughter, and our oldest grandchild) stopped in for a visit. It was fun to see her and their two children. In the second picture, Diane is teaching Elizabeth’s daughter how to make a hat with a round loom.

Cerwin and I had fun listening to the children read several books that we had paid for during a fund-raiser at their Christian school.

It was a relaxing and rewarding Sunday.
