At Jakey and Crystal’s House

Family and friends of Bryan (Cerwin’s nephew) gathered in the driveway and garage at noon for lunch before the music began.

We sang happy birthday to Velda (Cerwin’s sister) before the meal finished.

We enjoyed an afternoon of fabulous picking and singing.

Bryan (Crystal’s brother) invites friends that he meets at bluegrass festivals to sing and play instruments.

Cerwin’s brother and a woman whose name I do not know.

The two boys in the center are Bryan’s sons, Bryson and Caleb.

I do not know the other boy (right) who faithfully played his base all afternoon.

This man was an incredibly talented fiddle player. I think he was playing Orange Blossom Special in this picture.

I told Bryan that the afternoon was as good as going to a bluegrass festival.
