When looking for the closest Texas Roadhouse, we discovered there is a fairly new one in Ephrata – the closest one to us.

We started with house salads. I had blue cheese dressing while Cerwin chose thousand island for his.

Our kind waiter took our picture. He was fighting with the sun that was coming through the venetian blinds.

I am not usually a steak person but decided on a filet mignon with seasoned rice. Both were delicious and I could have cut my steak with a fork. Cerwin chose a baked potato with butter and cheese to go with his steak.

We told our waiter that we were celebrating our 62nd wedding anniversary, so he gathered several waiters and waitresses, brought their celebration saddle (on which Cerwin is sitting), and got the attention of everyone around us.

There was a lot of whooping and hollering!

Cerwin joined them!
That was a fun and delicious way to celebrate our anniversary – which is actually today, Sunday, September 14.
We enjoyed dessert after arriving home – a grape pie we bought at a roadside stand on the way to the restaurant.
Happy Anniversary!! And what a perfect place to celebrate it!
Thank you. We thought it was the perfect place. 🙂
PS The comment above was from Inge, the transplanted Texan. 🙂
I thought it was probably you.
Happy Anniversary!
Thank you!
Happiest of Anniversaries to you both!! I love Texas Roadhouse! Great pictures and it seems you had a wonderful time.
