The “Old Gang” began when we were a “Young Gang” – when most of us were dating. We have been getting together at least once a year since our children were babies. Now that most of us are in our late 70s and 80s, we are grateful for and treasure these times of being together.
This time we enjoyed a delightful evening in Sue Cassel’s home (basement) catered by Dean and Carole (Country Home Catering).
The menu: Marinated Chicken Breast, Gourmet Potatoes, Glazed Carrots, Tossed Salad, Cake (chocolate and carrot) and Vanilla Ice Cream.
The get-together is always planned by two couples from our group. During the evening it was announced which two couples are in charge of this gathering for 2026.
We treasure these friendships.
I know you’ve shared about meeting with this group before. I think it is incredible that you have all been able to keep this tradition going for so many years. I think this is newsworthy!! Somebody should do a public article about it. 🙂
