I am not sure that I have ever seen this kind. My flower app says it is a Meripilaceae – and that it is poisonous.
It is very pretty and large – about a foot across.
These – Pluteaceae – are popular in our yard and I see them often during rainy humid weather.
These are also pluteaceae.
I find mushrooms to be fascinating and wish I knew more about them.

That’s a beautiful mushroom! But I’m glad you are careful to know whether they are poisonous or not!
Even if my app told me that I could eat it, I would probably not do it. I only eat mushrooms from stores and restaurants. 🙂
