She improves slightly each day. Yesterday she ate her meals in bed – today she went to the dining room. She spent yesterday in a nightgown – today she was in a dress. The therapists are pleased with her strength. The nurses do less and less as she transfers from bed to her wheelchair.
It will be one week before we see her again, as we are taking a TFC chapel to Pass Lake, Ontario (near Thunder Bay), and I expect we will see a big difference next weekend.
As you pray for her, pray for us – concerning safety and the border crossing. Sometimes it is easy to cross the border, other times there seem to be issues – even with proper permits. I attached a cell phone photo from yesterday so you can visualize her room.
What a nice room she has and it’s good to hear that she is doing so well. Praying for safe travels and no “catches” as you cross the border.
