I am Light that has come into the world so that all who believe in me won’t have to stay any longer in the dark. [Jesus]

The next scene was after Ben and Patrick’s “magical” trip through a blizzard to the North Pole and Santa’s workshop. Mrs Claus and four elves welcomed them. (The stage was too dark to take non-flash pictures during the blizzard trip.)

Live a lover’s life, circumspect and exemplary, a life Jesus will be proud of: bountiful in fruits from the soul, making Jesus Christ attractive to all, getting everyone involved in the glory and praise of God.

Radio City Music Hall – Part 3

Monday, November 29

Our Trip to NYC

The Parade of the Wooden Soldiers was one of my favorite numbers

1 (3)

This is one of the show’s original numbers from 1933.

1 (4)

The costumes are of the same design created in 1933 by Vincente Minelli.

1 (5)

Each costume is made for the individual dancer.

1 (6)

1 (7)

1 (8)

1 (9)

1 (11)

1 (12)

1 (15)

1 (16)

1 (17)

1 (18)

The closing act of this number is quite cute.

1 (19)

Watch the arms of those in the beginning of the line after this cannon goes “boom” and everyone collapses.

1 (20)

1 (21)

1 (22)

1 (23)

The last soldier quickly goes for a large pillow after he sees what is happening.

1 (24)

Tomorrow night the performance “New York at Christmas”

Get out there and walk—better yet, run!—on the road God called you to travel. I don’t want any of you sitting around on your hands. I don’t want anyone strolling off, down some path that goes nowhere. And mark that you do this with humility and discipline—not in fits and starts, but steadily, pouring yourselves out for each other in acts of love, alert at noticing differences and quick at mending fences.

Ephesians 4:1-3 (The Message)

Macy’s & The Empire State Building

Monday, November 29

Our Trip to NYC

Macy's & Empire State Building (1)

Macy's & Empire State Building (2)

Macy’s window displays are a popular attraction this time of year.

Macy's & Empire State Building (3)

It was difficult to get good pictures because of the bright afternoon sun.

Macy's & Empire State Building (4)

Macy's & Empire State Building (5)

We went inside the door – just to say that we were inside.

Macy's & Empire State Building (6)

Macy's & Empire State Building (7)

Macy's & Empire State Building (8)

Maybe we will shop here another time – but we had other things to do today.

Macy's & Empire State Building (9)

Inside the front door

Macy's & Empire State Building (10)

Macy's & Empire State Building (11)

Out the door as we walk toward the Empire State Building

Macy's & Empire State Building (15)

 Macy's & Empire State Building (16)

There was no way to get a picture of the girls and the top of the building without lying on the ground – and I was pretty close to doing that.
