Fifty-six years! We were so young and somehow thought we would stay that way. 🙂 Little did we know in 1963 what would be ahead of us. It kind of frustrates me when people say, but it has been so easy for you. Everything has been easy for you. We raised four children. Those of […]

Saturday, September 7 – Evanston, Wyoming to Sidney, Nebraska We left the motel at 6 am. Temperature was 46 degrees. This was the only morning that we didn’t get breakfast at the motel – because their breakfast didn’t start until 7 am. We stopped at a McDonalds and got breakfast sandwiches. Wednesday, September 4 – A full day at Bryce Canyon The next shuttle took us to Sunset Point for another view of the canyon. I thought these rocks appeared to be sheer, but it may just have been the appearance with the sun shining on them. We asked a young couple from France to take […]

Wednesday, September 4 – A full day at Bryce Canyon This was our view as we walked around the corner of Ruby’s Inn for our free breakfast – with a voucher – because we have a room on this property. I love the history of this inn. In 1916, Reuben C. (Ruby) Syrett brought his […]

Tuesday, September 3 – Grand Junction, Colorado to Bryce Canyon, Utah This rest stop on Highway 89, near Circleville, Utah, featured one of Butch Cassidy’s childhood homes. After looking at this house, I decided they knew about “tiny houses” long before they were made popular in today’s world. I can’t imagine the Parker family lived […]

My husband, Cerwin, and I have four children, seventeen grandchildren (2 are in Heaven), and 19 great grandchildren. Cerwin spent 40 years as a truck driver for Ferrellgas. We are both retired from serving with Transport For Christ - a ministry to truck drivers - and love our life in rural Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
