Nashville Chapel Maintenance
Tuesday Afternoon, November 6 Cerwin needed to make some minor repairs, hopefully to fix a major problem – a leak when it rains. He checked the roof and is pretty sure there is no problem there. He prepared vent covers, because there have been problems with them at other chapels. The vents are necessary, but […]

A Resting Place for Aimie ~ Inge’s Cat
Thursday Afternoon, November 1 Inge called us on Wednesday, asking if we had room to bury another cat. It made me sad for her, because I know how much Inge loves her cats. If I remember correctly, Inge got Aimie at a shelter when she was no longer a young cat. Inge saying goodbye to […]
Fall Sunrise
I love the arrival of fall sunrises as I can see them through our living room window. I miss sunrises in spring and summer as it rises behind our woodlot and the sun is high in the sky before we see it.

Fall is Showing Up in Our Yard
This plant is new to our patio flower garden and I have been pleased with its greenery and size all summer, now it is turning yellow and purple. The morning sun makes it look more blue than green. I am anxious to see what happens throughout the fall and winter season.

Seeing Amish Country with Michael and Susan
Friday, October 19 We were enjoying breakfast when Susan said, “Look. Look.” A whitetail buck was running through the fields across from our house. We expect something frightened it – like maybe an archery hunter. We see deer in our area but rarely from our house. One of Michael and Susan’s desires was to see […]
