Visiting the Bridge
Friday, February 3
Our son-in-law Roy (back to camera – talking to Cerwin) knows more about ships than any of us, as he is retired from the Navy, so he was able to explain many things to us.
Diane listening to Roy explain some things about this area of the ship.
George making an announcement about an activity on the ship.
Notice the security monitors on the upper left.
Captain Lars was not on duty when we were there, but several of his assistants were guiding the ship.
Did you know that ships need windshield wipers?
Some information about the ship.
Cerwin found this information interesting as he likes to know what it takes to move a ship of this size.
Interesting information
The eyes of the LORD search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him.

A Quiet Friday Morning on the Ship
February 3
Sometimes it was fun to walk around the ship and see what our family was doing.
I smiled when I found Cerwin and Jordan in our stateroom checking on the stock market. They like to stay updated on what is going on in the world of finances.
Nate and Jeff were in Mama’s Kitchen playing cards.
Josiah (background) was enjoying a cup of coffee.
Jere and Kristen were having an early lunch with their boys.
Can you tell that Jared and Jesse have tiny, play cameras?
Make yourselves at home in my love.
If you keep my commands, you’ll remain intimately at home in my love.
That’s what I’ve done—kept my Father’s commands and made myself at home in his love.

Early on the Last Day of Our Cruise
Friday, February 3
It was still dark when I arrived on the rear deck of the twelfth level.
Sunrise was at 7:05 a.m.
I think I photographed each sunrise on our cruise – and none were even similar.
This shot almost looks like there is a robed person in the sunrise.
After breakfast I went back to our stateroom to look over the schedule for the day, and decided to watch the Fruit Carving Demo in the Crystal Atrium at 10:15 a.m.
The room was already full so I had to watch on the big screen above those who were doing the fruit carving.
The finished products were amazing.
Keep your lives free from the love of money. Be happy with what you have. God has said, “I will never leave you or let you be alone.”

Chocoholic Buffet
Garden Cafe – Deck 12
7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
After the show in Stardust Theater we went to the Garden Cafe to get our fill of chocolate.
The Statue of Liberty in chocolate
A chocolate pharaoh
Decorations among the chocolate.
These were made with rice.
These don’t all look like there is chocolate included. Maybe they were for those who can’t have chocolate, or maybe they were made with white chocolate.
Dragon ice sculpture
I’m not sure what this is. I thought it was an ice sculpture, but it looks like there is chocolate in it. Maybe it is ice that is reflecting the chocolate around it.
Jenna’s plateful of chocolate
The chocolate fountain was getting low when I arrived. There were lots of things to dip in chocolate. I got a strawberry and a piece of banana.
Gloria, Jenna, Diana, Roy, and Deb finishing their chocolate delights.
This towel dog was waiting for us when we went to bed.
The amazing grace of the Master, Jesus Christ, the extravagant love of God, the intimate friendship of the Holy Spirit, be with all of you.

Thursday Evening on the Cruise
Waiting for our family photo shoot.
This is the stairs where we will be standing.
All twenty-seven of us.
I don’t know what Jesse is telling Jenna, but I like this picture.
I like this one even better!
A few desserts that we got in Tsar’s Palace for supper.
Jared balancing a spoon on his nose. We have such talented grandkids. ![]()
The 7:30 p.m. show in Stardust Theater.
Diego (from Dora Explorer) made an appearance before the program began.
“Dan the Man” was the MC every night.
Production Cast Finale
We could not photograph the Le Cirque Bijou act which was fabulous. We were sitting so close to the front that some of the acrobats were hanging to ropes above her heads.
The production cast introduced the officers, staff, and crew.
We had confetti in our hair and on our clothing!
The crew lined the hallway as we exited the theater.
One of our favorite “washy, washy, happy, happy” ladies is prepared to spray Roy’s hands with sanitizer. They were always at the entrance to the buffet so germs were not passed on to others as we all handled the same serving utensils.
