See what great love the Father has for us that He would call us His children. And that is what we are. For this reason the people of the world do not know who we are because they did not know Him.

Arriving in New York Harbor
Early Saturday Morning, February 4
The early morning ride into the harbor was calm and beautiful.
Enjoy
Sunrise over the city was breathtaking.
Several hours went by between sunrise and disembarking. Then we had to find our luggage and our bus.
Loading our luggage into the bus.
Our last view of the ship.

Wonderful, wonderful memories.
The LORD watches over true knowledge, and he opposes those who try to deceive others.

Our Last Evening on the Cruise
February 3
Before can we go to Stardust Theater for the evening program Jesse must finish his meal, which is being fed to him with chopsticks by big brother Josh.
Oh, yeah! He’s finished.
We went to see the production crew’s performance called “Fountains.”
It was the funniest show of the week.
(Many of these photos we taken by our daughter Deb.)
They gave a fun variety show of spewing water on each other.
It was done with much ceremony preceding the water spewing.
Oops! She ducked and George got wet.
She decided that he was too tall, so spewed her water under his arm pit.
He got her back!
In this act they marched in unison toward the edge of the stage.
The front row quickly moved to another part of the room. ![]()
One! Two! Three! Lights out!
Luckily for the audience they held their fire – or water!
Then they left the stage and it was time for me to go to bed.

It was difficult to believe that this was our last night at sea.
Above all, you must live as citizens of heaven, conducting yourselves in a manner worthy of the Good News about Christ.
Philippians 1:27 (New Living Translation)
I am the one who made the earth and created human beings to live there.
By my power I stretched out the heavens; I control the sun, the moon, and the stars.

Our Last Sunset on Norwegian Jewel
Friday, February 3
While waiting for the sun to set, I noticed that the moon was patiently waiting to take over the night sky.
Ian, Jared, and Jesse waiting for the sunset.
Kristen and Jere were also there.
Several of our family members decided to pay for a steak dinner, while the rest of us chose to go to the free buffet for our evening meal. It was the first time that any of us ate supper at the buffet. There was a great variety of delicious food.
Time to get the camera ready for a daily event that many of us miss or take forgranted.
It was breathtaking!
Be strong, all who wait with hope for the Lord, and let your heart be courageous.

Shopping with Jared & Jesse
Afternoon program in Stardust Theater
Jared and Jesse wanted me to take them for walk – to see if they could find something to do that they hadn’t done yet. As soon as they saw this, they knew it was what they wanted to do.
After paying a dollar, I told Jesse that he had to choose the kind of coin he wanted, then turn the handle.
It became more and more difficult as it got close to dispensing the souvenir coin.
Showing you their coins.
Jesse tried to avoid the bubbles and Jared tried to only step on the bubbles.
They decided their next stop should be the store.
Jesse wanted a bottle with a map inside, and Jared chose a compass.
Jared reading the map to Jesse.
Jared using his compass to determine which way to travel. I told them that it was time to head for Stardust Theater to meet their parents.
I wanted to see the afternoon show when Hotel Director Hugo and Captain Lars answered questions about the ship.

The program was over in time for me to catch the sunset – something I had not done on this trip because we were usually in a restaurant eating supper.
Just as I snapped this picture of the entrance to the rear deck – where I was headed to photograph the sunset – this steward came through the door.
I told him that he would now make it into my album of photo memories. ![]()
