Trucks – Visitors – Lunch – A Surprise
Mid-America Truck Show
Thursday, March 22

You may remember that I was visiting North and South Halls in my previous MATS blog.

I liked this color scheme.

I’m not sure I like this color scheme, but it sure is an attention-getter.

It seems that you could easily see this one on the road.

I like red, white, and blue.

When I arrived back at our vendor booth Cerwin was explaining the TFC slides to two visitors.

Pearl graciously made us lunch each day – in their fifth-wheel camper. Eating at the show is quite expensive, so this is a great benefit to our expense accounts.

Each day there was a different yummy soup.

We took turns eating so there was always someone at the booth. Delton Rissler was interested in talking to Gary about being a vendor at the Ohio Truck Rally, so when Gary came back from lunch, I introduced them.

Another visitor

We always enjoy talking with Kendis Paris from TAT (Truckers Against Trafficking). Last year we shared a booth with them. This year they have their own exhibitor space.

We noticed that WSM had a booth just two spaces away, but didn’t pay much attention until we heard music, which was usually amateurs.

One time when I went by, I stopped and did a double-take when I saw Eddie Stubbs. I stopped and said, “I think I see you on TV most Saturday nights.” He shook my hand and said, “You must watch the Marty Stuart show.”
I went back to our booth and told Cerwin to come with me to meet someone. That was fun.
