I will give you thanks as long as I live;
I will raise my hands to you in prayer.

A Rainbow On Our Rally Set Up
Just as I was about to leave the Lebanon Expo Center tonight, a slight rainbow appeared.
A rainbow and the setting sun put a golden glow on everything.
The sun even made the chrome on this truck appear to be golden.
I changed the setting on my camera, and even though it darkened the photo, the chrome appeared even more golden.
~~~
We are looking forward to a great day tomorrow.
If you live in our area – or feel like a Saturday drive – come see us at Lebanon Expo Center.
The parade of trucks begins at 11:00 a.m.
There are more details on my facebook page (events) Doris Jean High.
God is the one who gives me strength.
He clears the path I need to take.
Lunch at Nathaniel & Abby’s
Sunday, June 17
After a busy weekend, it was delightful to go to Nate and Abby’s house for Sunday lunch.
Nate was making the hot dogs and hamburgers when we arrived.
Diane (Abby’s mom), Lydia (Abby’s sister) in the background, Abby, and Luanne (Nathaniel’s mother).
This was the first time I saw Skip – Abby’s new horse.
Lunch is almost ready. Romaine (Nathaniel’s grandma) is in the beige sweater.
I like this picture of Jenna.
Prayer before our meal.
If you look closely, you can see Teresa – my blog friend who came to Jeff and Chris’ auction – from Tennesse. She is just to the left of the blue chair in the center back. She stayed with our friends Jim and Lois Kime during the auction. I can find Lois in the background of this photo, but cannot locate Jim.
I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me.
The End of the Auction
Saturday, June 16
Jesse enjoyed helping Nathan open one of his birthday presents. Sabrina gave him nineteen “N’ presents to celebrate his nineteenth birthday. This was Nachos.
Teresa and Chris
Did you get back to Tennessee safely, Teresa?
Kevin enjoying ice cream with his children.
Selling items at the edge of the furniture tent.
Passing a tray of dog figurines through the window.
Receiving them on the other side.
Jeff displayed a beautiful chandelier as the auctioneer took bids.
A nice wooden box.
A broader view of the auctions.
At the end of the day many people had new things for their houses and barns.
Let yourselves be pulled into a way of life shaped by God’s life,
a life energetic and blazing with holiness.
The Auction
Saturday Afternoon
Glassware waiting to be handed out the window to the auction block.
These four seemed to be having fun as they delivered boxes to people’s trucks or cars.
The Amish neighbors asked Jeff for permission to sell ice cream and strawberries.
One of the sons thought this would be a good investment on a warm Saturday afternoon.
Their mother sliced strawberries as fast as she could.
It didn’t take long for the word to spread that there was ice cream and fresh strawberries.
Things continued to sell under the main tent.
Auctioneer Associate Aaron Nolt (center back with hat) moved his group to the farm items on the ground.
It looks like everyone was having a good time.
There will be one more post of the afternoon activities.
With every step you take,
think about what he wants,
and he will help you go the right way.
Saturday Morning – More Pictures
This was the scene on Saturday morning shortly after 7:30 when we came over the hill by way of a field “lane” created just for this event – to keep the traffic away from the auction area.
Deb wasn’t able to come yesterday, so got a hug from her brother.
Sisters
These two are making another trip to pick up or deliver something.
Selling items from the farm wagons.
The corn crib was sold later in the day.
After meeting Keebler the Skunk, Ashlea drew a photo of him. I love it.
I didn’t want a regular job at the auction – just wanted to enjoy every moment – but I did keep my eye on the number of runners waiting to take items to successful bidders. If the line became short – especially when runners were asked to do another job – I filled in when necessary.
Waiting to be sold.
An old rug
Ian waiting anxiously to see if his dad was successful in getting the foreign money he wanted.
This is getting serious!
Yes! He got what he wanted.
Jared also wanted some foreign money.
I went to the attic of the house to see what I could see. This old window was not clear enough to get a great photo.
It was a bit easier to get pictures from the front window.
Auction of the row of items along the edge of the yard.
These photos give you just a slight idea of the delightful day.
