Winner of Largest Fleet
Eighteen Trucks
Thanks to the owners and drivers for making the Rally a priority.
Their Truck Medic always leads the Crowe fleet in the Parade of Trucks.
More Trucks from the Rally
Varying Shades of Red and Burgundy
I just came inside after spending several hours working in the flower beds and decided I was too tired to do anything, so it must be time to prop up my feet and post another set of trucks!
While looking at the remaining pictures of the Rally, I decided to post the next set of trucks by color.

Benefit Auctions
Auctioneers, Donald Groff and Joel Heisey did a great job of selling donated items.
Theme baskets are a growing hit at the main auction.
Our granddaughters Diana and Jenna helped display items up for auction.
Due to so many donated items in recent years, the auction has been divided into four parts: Main, Silent, Winross, and Children’s, so the auctioneers can close by 5:15 PM.
I do not have a photo of the silent auction, where several items are put on a table, and bids are received by putting your number and bid on a piece of paper. Throughout the day you can check if you have been outbid, and increase the amount if you want the item. The winners are announced at 3:30 PM.
Winross Auction
The 173 donated Winross (and other brand) model trucks are a major portion of the auction income.
Children’s Auction
This is held at the same time as the Winross sale – as an alternate for those who are not into model trucks.
I love watching the children bid.
This little guy was my favorite. He used his card for bidding and would raise and lower it so fast I could only capture a blur.
His little sister was a recipient of several of his bids. She loved this little doll in a tiger outfit.

Featuring
Rigidply Rafters, Richland, PA
They have one of the best kept fleets in the area, and always have one or more trucks (many times the whole fleet) in the trophy winner’s circle at the end of the day.
Each year – for many years – they send two trucks to the Expo Center early in the day – one hoists and holds the Rally banner…
…the other is strategically parked in North Hall to serve as a stage for the weekend.
The stage is one of the first rigs to arrive – and the last to leave.

Big Bright Bounces’ Obstacle Course was a hit with every age.
It was fun watching two people enter the openings, climb the small hill, slide down…
Race to the top of the big hill…
Quickly go over the top…
Then slide to the bottom!
More Beautiful Trucks
Bethel Truck Service is planning to lay over a full rig
Hopefully at next year’s Rally

New Photos Added to Previous Posts of the Rally!
Yesterday Don Hollinger stopped in to give me his digital photos of the Rally. We like to exchange photos, as both are responsible for entering pictures in TFC literature. We notice different things at the Rally and are at varying locations, so it is fun to get each others perspective.
You may want to check out the additions, especially:
Lanita
Glenn Myer – Best of Show
Paul Rissler – Home Away From Home
Black truck with 350″ wheel base.
I added Photo by Don Hollinger to the new ones.
Taking Jordan Home and Local Flooding
Our fourteen-year-old grandson, Jordan, has been spending the past week with us. (As part of their birthday gift – after age 12 – Cerwin and I give them the opportunity to spend a week of their choice at our house.)
His favorite way of helping me this week was counting cash in the various cash boxes from the Rally. I especially appreciated his help in filling out bank deposit slips which is what he is doing in the above photo.
When Jordan and I were on the road yesterday afternoon, he took a few pictures of local flooding. We do not live near a river, but the local creeks were over their banks.
The scene at the Susquehanna River near Marietta, PA – 7 PM yesterday.
After meeting Cerwin at the TFC Int. Office, Marietta, PA, (he returned the TFC pickup truck after using it for the Rally) and going to a local restaurant for supper, Jordan asked Grandpa if he could get close to the Susquehanna.
This still photo cannot adequately give you the intimidating feeling of standing next to the sound of rushing water with lots of debris going by.

I have lots more Truck Rally pictures, so stay tuned!
