Check the profile picture to see who won both games.

It wasn’t that I did so well, the others just didn’t have very good scores.  My first game was 136, and I think the last one was 116.

The boys wanted a picture of us kissing.  This was their reward.

A Two Cousins “boli” was everyone’s choice for supper.

I love their steak boli.

Music to My Ears

I am spending the day organizing and moving our 2007 photos from my laptop to the two external hard drives where I store them for safekeeping.  These were still in my “Photos to Post” folder from the other week, and were left unposted due to many holiday events.

What fun to listen to tunes played by a few of my favorite people, following Gloria’s seventh birthday party the other week.

all my inmost being, praise his holy name.

Praise the LORD, O my soul,

 and forget not all his benefits.

A Work Day With Grandpa

Today Jordan, Nathan, and Josh went to the TFC Shop to help Cerwin install insulation in the chapel he is building for Chilliwack, BC.

Me?

After two very busy months in the office, then getting ready for two Christmas dinners ~ I didn’t move very fast this morning.

I took a long hot shower, then enjoyed two cups of coffee while shopping online for digital scrapbooking software.  I decided to use some of my Christmas money to purchase Scrapbook Factory Deluxe 4.0.  I’ll tell you later next year if I like it or not.

By evening our Christmas decorations were carefully boxed for storage until next Christmas – and the garage was again housing our two vehicles.

Christmas Day 2007

My Favorite Pictures of Our Day

Christmas Day (2).JPG

After a relaxing morning, we went to Jere and Kristen’s for a 10 a.m. brunch.

Before eating, we helped the little ones sing Happy Birthday to Jesus.

This sweet potato casserole was part of our delicious brunch, prepared by Jere and Kristen.

After coming home at noon, Cerwin, Josh, and I prepared the house and garage for an evening Christmas celebration with Cerwin’s family.

Before prayer, Cerwin’s brother Elvin and his wife Patti told us their daughter Crystal and boyfriend Jakey had an announcement.

Now-You-Have-It-Now-You-Don’t Gift Exchange

Christmas Day (16).JPG

The adults (twelve years and above) purchased and wrapped a $7 to $10 gift if they wanted to participate in the game, where everyone received three numbers.  A chosen gift is not safe until their last number is called.

Mel and Velda (Cerwin’s sister)

After we all had gifts, we took turns opening them and revealing the giver.

Grandsons, Jordan, Josh, and Nathan.

These three are staying with us for the next three days – to help Cerwin with installing basic wiring and insulation in the chapel he is building for a truck stop in Chilliwack, British Columbia.

Josh was pleased with his package!

~~~
Following that we played an “Open Gift” Now-You-Have-It-Now-You-Don’t with the children, similar to the one we played with our children on Sunday.
~~~

Donald brought some old slides that he had changed to digital pictures, so we showed them, plus new pictures from a family wedding earlier in the year, and hunting pictures the men wanted to see.
