Pay all that you owe,
whether it is taxes and fees or respect and honor.

Update on TFC’s Newest Chapel
The trailer when we picked it up in Wisconsin one year ago.
The interior construction was almost finished by the end of March, then it was time to go through the process of sandblasting, painting, and lettering the exterior.
If you missed seeing the interior a few weeks ago, click here. Scroll down one entry, because the first post will be about the Iditarod. ![]()
Cerwin put in a lot of time air sanding the trailer and hand sanding around the rivets – a couple thousand of them. When this was completed, Amos Weaver did the sandblasting.
His son Mervin did a fabulous job of painting it.
The next stop was Eckert’s Sign Shop.
There it is – TFC’s newest chapel – ready to be delivered to Racine, Wisconsin.
Cerwin pulled it out of Eckert’s on Monday.
He and I plan to leave Marietta, Pennsylvania, on April 28 or 29, and arrive in Racine two days later.
Long before he [God] laid down earth’s foundations,
he had us in mind,
had settled on us as the focus of his love.

Monday
I spent most of the day working on my database – making one mailing list out of three. It wasn’t a tough job, just time-consuming.
The girls played computer games in their pj’s – until 2 p.m. I would like to do that some day, but always worry that someone will stop in and find me in pj’s. ![]()
After they got dressed, I took them to Rita’s for a treat.
It was a nice quiet day.
~~~
Tonight we went to the viewing/visitation of one of Cerwin’s cousins who died several days ago. The best part of the evening was seeing lots of cousins – some whom we haven’t seen in years.
Live in such a way that you are a credit to the Message of Christ.
Easter Sunday
The day began with an inspiring worship service where our minister Marv Shenk reminded us:
Christ is risen Indeed.
His work on earth is not finished.
He is coming back.
After church we went to Jere (youngest son) and Kristen’s house for lunch.
Our appetizer was a piece of Bachmann chocolate which they brought home from Switzerland earlier this week.
We enjoyed a delicious dinner with their family, Kristen’s mother (white blouse with her back to the camera), their friend Elwood (red vest) and his special needs son, Greg (white apron), who Kristen is assisting.
Another view of everyone enjoying ham, sweet potato casserole, gourmet potatoes, filling, peas, and several relishes. Dessert was mini red velvet cupcakes, tapioca, and apple sauce.
After lunch we enjoyed seeing their pictures of Switzerland and Italy on their TV. It was fun to see places in Lucerne and Zurich that we recognized from our trip to Europe last summer.
~~~
About 5 p.m. we went to Jeff (oldest son) and Chris’ place to bring Jenna and her friend Smita to our house. Jenna asked to use one of the seven “gift” days she gets from us each year.
~~~
I wanted to get a full-meadow photo of their herd of sheep and goats, but they all rushed up to the fence to see if I had food to offer them.
Baby goat was unfazed by my presence and chose that moment to get an evening snack.
After arriving home, I asked Smita and Jenna to pose with the pretty vase of daffodils that Cerwin picked for me this morning.
By the sound of giggles in the next room, they are having a fun evening.
Christ died and was raised to life,
and now he is at God’s right side, speaking to him for us.
Today
A Rainy Morning ~ A Sunny Afternoon
Rain drops were clinging to everything this morning.
I would have liked to stay in the house, but needed a few groceries.
By noon the sun came out and evaporated most of the rain drops.
The sun also brought out lots of birds.
I loved watching this goldfinch scolding the other bird as it took a bath. The chickadee just watched.
Mrs. Cardinal looked pretty in the evening sun.
This was our Saturday – the day between Good Friday and Easter – the day without a name.
His wounds became your healing.
