Mélange
Meaning a group of unrelated things – photos in this case.

Yesterday I heard a ruckus at the front window well and ran upstairs (from my basement office) to see what was going on. I still don’t know what was happening, but this groundhog was hightailing it toward the road. He stopped just long enough to see what I was doing.

I think the cool, rainy weather may delay the blooming of our tulips, meaning they could still be pretty next Sunday (26th) when my family is here for our Easter dinner. That would be nice.

A pretty robin in our dogwood tree. Notice all the tiny, white buds.

We had a busy day in the office, so I was thankful for the help of Glenn Fahnestock (left), Cerwin, Earl (right) and Lorraine Wenzel, and Don Hollinger.
I forgot to take pictures during the labeling of the Highway News, and when I thought about it, Don had already gone home. Lorraine was standing behind me as I took this picture.

These three enjoy talking about trucks and trucking, and reminiscing about the time they drove for the same company.
Notice the twelve mail bags that are ready for the post office.
After lunch I prepared a regular (envelope) mailing – TFC’s Prayer Calendar for May. That added seven trays to the stash of mail Cerwin took to the post office today.
