He’s solid rock under my feet, breathing room for my soul.
Psalm 62:1 (The Message)

Solid rock. Breathing room. How I need both in this unstable world.

Part 8 – Final Photos
Penryn Mud Sale
Saturday, March 19
I left by noon, and took a few more photos as I walked toward our car.
Need a door…
…or a sink?
How about a personal grocery cart?
We have grandchildren who would enjoy these.
I think these young people were playing volley ball. I was almost at the car when I looked back and saw there was a game going on.
Our small village was full of cars and people, and even though there were shuttle busses to take you to local church parking lots, many people just parked along the roads. This was the view on our road as I headed home.
The end.
Thank God! He deserves your thanks. His love never quits. Thank the God of all gods, His love never quits. Thank the Lord of all lords. His love never quits.
Psalm 136:1 (The Message)

This is how I feel this morning.

Baby Goats
The children loved watching them.
These four little pigs drew a lot of attention.
I love that dirty little snout!

More Tomorrow Evening
Nothing can hinder the Lord. He can win a battle whether he has many warriors or only a few!
1 Samuel 14:6 (New Living Translation)

I love verses that remind me of God’s power.

Overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
Romans 8:37 (New Living Translation)

I like to think about God’s promise of overwhelming victory and being more than a conquerer in my battle against Satan and his schemes to bring me down.
Part 4 – Back to the Auction
Penryn Mud Sale
Saturday, March 19
After being outside for awhile and getting quite cold, I headed back to the quilt and craft sale inside the fire hall.
By this time of day (11:00 a.m.) the grounds, tents, and building were full of people.
Barbecue Chicken
I decided to get something hot for lunch to help bring warmth to my body. While waiting in line, they opened the barbecue chicken container.
I love the chicken corn soup that is sold at this sale, and learned the hard way one year that if I don’t purchase a cup before noon, it might be gone.
Walking toward my seat.

I slowly savored my soup while watching the craft auction.
The Amish bid spotters are lively and humorous to watch as they try to get bids.
More tomorrow evening.
