January 1, 2007 – in Brunswick, Maine
(I finally took time to transferr photos from my laptop to the Myers’ computer.)
We had lots of rain today, so our activities involved the indoors.

My morning coffee delivered by Lydia
This is how Diane and Mark came downstairs this morning!
Mark drives coach for CYR Bus Lines out of South Portland, and had to take a group of “Over Fifties” to a resort in Connecticut for a New Year’s Eve Celebration. These were souvenirs from the evening.
Diane, Hezekiah, and Cerwin playing Rook on a laptop.
Hezekiah and me playing Bug Drop on my laptop. We also played Sorry and Uno.
Lydia and Cerwin playing Checkers.
We played Rook with cards – most of the afternoon.

Hannah and Cerwin
Elizabeth and Hezekiah cleaning up the kitchen area.
After supper every child has a job to do while Grandma, Grandpa, Dad, and Mom relax. What a neat plan.
Cerwin reading a hunting magazine.

Lydia, Josiah, and Mark relaxing.
Lydia and Josiah. I loved seeing Lydia sitting in a corner of the room reading.

After cleanup it was time for Diane’s 41st Birthday Celebration.

I loved this creative gift from Lydia – 41 pennies!

Another favorite of mine was this Sudoku calendar.
It was a wonderful, relaxing way to start a new year.
