Kitten & Sunflowers
The other night when we were at Jeff and Chris’ for the birthday party, we enjoyed watching one of the kittens playing with the long leaves in the vase of sunflowers. By the time I thought of taking pictures, she stopped. The sunflowers were from the funeral of Chris’ Grandpa Cassel earlier in the week.

as this afternoon is the funeral for her Grandpa Cassel. http://www.buchfuneral.com/obituaries/obituary-listings?obId=24358#wallTabLink He was Lois’ father and our daughter-in-law Chris’ very loved grandpa. Grandpa Cassel lived a long full life (age 98), and was a godly influence in Chris’ life as well as in the life of her mother. Saying goodbye to a loved one is always difficult.
