Saturday, January 21 I looked forward to this day – to fellowship with other ladies – and to hear what Barb and Joan (sisters) had to say. They were in the youth group when we were youth advisors back in the ’80s. This is what greeted the ladies as we arrived at the door of […]

October 22-30 We have been in charge of caring for these three grandchildren many times during their lifetime, but none of them ever turned out quite like this time. 🙂 I asked the boys (left to right: Jared, Jesse, and Ian) to pose for a picture this morning before church – to send to their parents who are […]

Sunday Evening, October 16 When we learned that our soon-to-be-grandson-in-law was speaking at the Maine Ministry meeting at Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren in York County, it didn’t take us long to decide to travel the one-hour-plus drive to hear him. The evening sky was cloudy and beautiful as the sun was setting. It was […]

Friday, July 15 I didn’t take pictures during Bible school on Friday evening since everything would be similar to the past two entries. I enjoyed the children’s story which emphasized that God has a place for each of us in His Kingdom. It was a bit humorous as 5 Bible characters started out in settings that confused […]

Thursday Evening, July 14 We did go to Bible school on Wednesday night, but I did not plan to take pictures. I regretted that decision when Dustan Martin began telling the children’s story. He had designed a “robot” that would make him a few of his favorite things. He handed the robot a box of strawberries and after […]

My husband, Cerwin, and I have four children, seventeen grandchildren (2 are in Heaven), and 19 great grandchildren. Cerwin spent 40 years as a truck driver for Ferrellgas. We are both retired from serving with Transport For Christ - a ministry to truck drivers - and love our life in rural Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
