Grace mixed with faith and love poured over me and into me. And all because of Jesus.

Outside Auctions, Animals, and Flowers
Penryn Mud Sale
Saturday, March 17
The beautiful, sunny day certainly made it delightful for holding many outside auctions.
I was surprised to come upon our granddaughter Abby waiting to bid on an auction item.
She had no clue I was there. After this photo, I made my presence known. We talked a bit before I went on to look for more photo opportunities and she gave her attention to the auction.
The small animals were an attraction.
This rabbit was interesting. He kept checking on me by standing on his hind legs.
There were many beautiful flowers.
Tomorrow night I will begin posting pictures of quilts. I know some of you are anxious to see them.
The LORD’S teachings are perfect. They give strength to his people.
The LORD’S rules can be trusted. They help even the foolish become wise.

I love watching people, and included a few people photos in this post.
This auctioneer was looking for bids for the auctioneer who was working and leaned into my shot. ![]()
These children were having fun in this gazebo-style building.
The two Amish girls in light blue looked alike, so I supposed they were twins.
Then I noticed two more – same light blue dresses.
Later I asked if they were two sets of twins or quads. They said they are quads.
I saw three of them again when I went to the back field to watch the volley ball games.
There were four volley ball games going on.
It seems like mud sales are a great time for Amish teenagers to be together.
Don’t quit in hard times.

Mud Sale Food
Saturday, March 17
During my next venture outside, our daughter Deb captured me (with a cute Amish boy) taking a photo of something.
To find the chicken barbecue, you just followed the smoke and your sense of smell.
Not far away I could hear the hit and miss sound of the homemade ice cream machine.
The ice cream was a delicious addition to apple dumplings.
These girls are eating candy pops.
My grandniece Heidi was enjoying a drink while her mom pushed her and her baby sister around the grounds in a double stroller.
By lunch time the food area was quite full.
There was chicken corn soup (my choice), sausage sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, and french fries.
Pizza and warm soft pretzels.
The bakery area was filled with whoopie pies and lots of donuts.
Almost any kind of pie
Lemon sponge is one of my favorites.
~~~
I am always glad when Cerwin is along to this sale so we can share. First we shared a glazed donut, then a cup of chicken corn soup, and later an order of french fries.
~~~
I pray that God will greatly bless you with kindness, peace, and love!

No words needed. Most pictures speak for themselves.
The clerk is our niece Karen – my sister’s oldest daughter.
Godliness with contentment is great gain.
