Earlier This Week

Flowers & a Robin

Abby Moves In

Painting Their Apartment

The Sweet Smell of Earth

1 (1)

All the rain has created a lot of pretty flowers.

1 (2)

I have lots of miniature roses.

1 (3)

1 (4)

And a beautiful gerbera daisy

1 (11)

This robin looked so pretty in the morning sun, but I could not convince it to look at me.

1 (12)

Despite my tapping on the window, something else had its attention.

  1 (5)

Abby arrived (from Maine) on Tuesday afternoon, and moved into our guest room until her marriage to Nathaniel in early July.

1 (6)

1 (7)

Her car was packed full with many of her earthly belongings.

1 (8)

The trunk

1 (9)

There was a box for us – from the bakery where she worked in Maine.

1 (10)

Oh, yum!

1 (13)

On Friday I went to the apartment they are building in the basement of Nate’s grandma’s house.

1 (14)

Stephanie (a future sister-in-law) and Nathaniel’s parents were helping.

They are going to have a really nice place to live.

1 (15)

On Saturday I knew someone was working in the fields next to us because the sweet smell of earth was wafting in my windows.

1 (16)

Because of so much rain, the farmers are very late in getting into the fields.

1 (17)

I think that is why it smelled so good to me this year.

1 (18)

It seems that they are having to work it more than usual because the ground had been so wet.

May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

Ephesians 3:19 (New Living Translation)

This is my prayer for each person who reads this entry.

Thanks Mervin Weaver and his employee.

The guys have installed the cabinets, exterior lights, and interior lights while waiting to take it to the businessman who will do the lettering. Photos coming later. They are in Cerwin’s camera at the shop.

It is good to give thanks to the Lord,
to make music to praise your name, O Most High.

It is good to announce your mercy in the morning and your faithfulness in the evening.

Psalm 92:1-2 (GOD’S WORD Translation)

~~~
Remembering God’s mercy each morning is good for my soul.
