Roy & Deb’s Wedding
Saturday, June 11
Part 3 of 7
Congratulations continued after the ceremony.
My brother Dale taking a picture of Jared and Ian.
If you look closely you can see rain drops on the table cloth from the short shower at the end of the ceremony.
The flowers were by Tony.
I wonder who left her hat on the table.
I found her – it’s Julianna’s.
A view from the corn field while guests are enjoying coffee, juice, and delicious pastries.

I am guessing that you would like a closer look at the baked goods by Rachel & Sarah (R & S Bakery)

Roy & Deb’s Wedding
Saturday, June 11
Part 2 of 7
Jana – Bridesmaid
Leslie – Matron of Honor
Leslie has been Debbie’s friend since high school days.
Here comes Jesse on his Amish-made tricycle and trailer.
Jake – the Amish man you see in the audience at times is the one who made this.
Guess what he is hauling in the trailer.
It’s baby Izzy. She looked around a bit, then went back to sleep.
Deb and Cerwin
Pastor Michael sharing a marriage challenge.
The audience sang, Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee.
Pastor Michael read 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 before the wedding vows.
They poured colored sand (hers was black & his was red) into one vase signifying the combining of two families.
Because of a few tears, Deb needed her eye makeup fixed.
It began sprinkling at the end of the ceremony, so everyone quickly went for cover under the tent and porch. It lasted only a few minutes. We heard later that several surrounding areas had a heavy downpour, so we felt blessed.

Roy & Deb’s Wedding
Saturday, June 11
Part 1 of 7
This sign pointed us to the correct driveway for the early morning, outdoor wedding.
Yes, it was still dark outside, because it was a 5:15 a.m. wedding. They wanted to be married at sunrise.
Cerwin with Peyton – our grandniece – the granddaughter of Cerwin’s brother, Elvin, and wife, Pat (behind Cerwin).
Jared and Ian in their wedding garb. Jared was a Candy Host and Ian a Program Attendant.
Jesse was the ring bearer.
He looked cute in a tuxedo with tails.
Zachary served coffee to guests as they arrived.
Each guest received coffee in their own cup – a gift from the bride and groom.
Kristen signing the guest register.
We were told that dress was casual – and most took advantage of the relaxed atmosphere. The Amish women and girls thought it would be fun to come barefooted.
It was a beautiful, comfortable morning, with a slight threat of rain.
The wedding was held on the lawn of their friends Glenn & Leslie.
The wedding arch looked pretty in the early morning light.

As people were seated the Candy Host and Hostesses began handing out the small bags.
A very handsome Candy Host.

The ceremony is about to begin – but you will have to wait until tomorrow night for that.
