Truck Rally
Saturday, June 25
Part 4 of 5
Rearview mirror photo of the parade – by Paul Rissler
Returning to the fairgrounds
Will and Sherry Stoner’s view of me taking pictures.
Love the old vehicles.
I enjoy seeing truck testimonies.
The end of the parade
Our grandson Josh painted a clown on the wet sponge game board while staying at our house the week before truck rally.
Throwing a wet sponge.
Hit with a very wet sponge.
Wendie does a great job of face painting. There was always a long line waiting to have their face or arm painted.
Our granddaughter Gloria

Obstacle course from Big Bright Bounces
This is fun because two people can go at once – adult or child.
Tricycle course for small children.
Two Sauder girls helping with the garden tractor roadeo.
Another Sauder daughter helping her dad.
Pedal Pull
CDL Roadeo (skills course)
Ruff and Tuff or Powder Puff Roadeo (skills course).
Our friend John Whisler asked if I wanted to go on the lift. He knows the person operating it.
He didn’t have to ask me twice.
I asked Inge (TFC International Office) if she wanted to go along – and she did. She is the one who took this picture.
A few views from the top.
The tallest building (North Hall) is where the benefit auction and gospel concert are held. You can see just a bit of West Hall on the right which we use for vendors. It is a long, low building

The Main Auction
Geoff Stoner’s antique Marmon was the special feature this year.
Bunny O’Hare was the auctioneer for the children’s auction.
Jesse Rothacker shared interesting wildlife facts concerning the critters of “Forgotten Friends.”
At the end of the program, the children had opportunity to touch this snake.
Our three youngest grandsons (Jesse, Ian, and Jared) with the snake.
Last Truck Rally post tomorrow night.
Let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.

Truck Rally
June 25
Part 3 of 5
The parade began promptly at 11:00 a.m. with International Chapel #1 leading the eleven-mile drive.
It was Ian’s turn to ride with grandpa.
The Sauder’s Egg truck followed the chapel, because it needed to be back to the fairground for use in the CDL Roadeo competition.
Thanks Sauder’s Eggs for donating it for the day.
Geoff Stoner’s Mack
Will Stoner’s “General”
I like this old pickup
There were many varieties of beautifully colored trucks in the convoy.
The Zeager trucks won “Best Fleet” trophy.
Traveling through beautiful Lebanon County countryside.
Notice the truck going up the hill in the distance – which is part of the parade route.
As the fairgrounds emptied (about 11:45) I walked toward the exit driveway where lots of people were watching the trucks.
This is why so many drivers were blowing their air horns shortly after joining the parade.
This guy was kind of embarrassed when he realized that he stepped into the path of my camera. I replied, “I got the picture I wanted. I wanted to see your arm. ![]()

Part 2 of 5
From my chair on the Lebanon Expo lawn, I had a great view of every truck that entered the fairgrounds.
They came in many colors, makes, and ages.
His clutch went out just as he arrived at the fairgrounds.
Harry and Nancy looked good in this restored Mack.
John, Karen, and the boys in their beautiful KW
By 11:00, when it was time for the convoy parade to begin, more than 200 trucks had arrived, and after a few latecomers, the total was 208.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you abundantly.

I want the word of Christ to be a resident in my life.
Truck Rally
June 25
Part 1 of 5
An early arrival – about 8:30 a.m.
A few of the earliest trucks were these antiques.
Truck parkers discuss some final plans.
The flowers – donated by Esbenshade’s Garden Center, Lititz, PA – were attractively arranged in West Hall which we use for a vendor building.
Outside, Auntie Anne’s was getting set up.
Another outside vendor (Delton & Ashley Rissler) preparing for the day.
The truck registration table is ready for early arrivals.
Rigidply trucks entering the driveway, and receiving registration information.
Polishing for judging seems unending.
Paul Rissler – one of five brothers from Missouri who attended the rally.
The old Autocar reminds me a bit of Mater in the Cars movie.
My favorite trucker (now that his dad is retired) – our son Jeff.
Jeff Brown has been coming to the rally as long as I can remember.
I love watching the line of Lanita trucks arriving from north of the fairgrounds. There were a dozen of them – giving them the “Largest Fleet” trophy on Saturday evening.
Love this Lanita truck
Clemens made it the whole way to best of show. Congratulations.
This logger’s loud jake brake got everyone’s attention as he came down the hill from the east. I love loud jake brakes!
