Truck Rally
June 25
Part 1 of 5
An early arrival – about 8:30 a.m.
A few of the earliest trucks were these antiques.
Truck parkers discuss some final plans.
The flowers – donated by Esbenshade’s Garden Center, Lititz, PA – were attractively arranged in West Hall which we use for a vendor building.
Outside, Auntie Anne’s was getting set up.
Another outside vendor (Delton & Ashley Rissler) preparing for the day.
The truck registration table is ready for early arrivals.
Rigidply trucks entering the driveway, and receiving registration information.
Polishing for judging seems unending.
Paul Rissler – one of five brothers from Missouri who attended the rally.
The old Autocar reminds me a bit of Mater in the Cars movie.
My favorite trucker (now that his dad is retired) – our son Jeff.
Jeff Brown has been coming to the rally as long as I can remember.
I love watching the line of Lanita trucks arriving from north of the fairgrounds. There were a dozen of them – giving them the “Largest Fleet” trophy on Saturday evening.
Love this Lanita truck
Clemens made it the whole way to best of show. Congratulations.
This logger’s loud jake brake got everyone’s attention as he came down the hill from the east. I love loud jake brakes!
