Headed West!
If you see this rig on the road, make sure you get our attention!
Yesterday we packed the cab for traveling. I filled all the cupboards and compartments.
The bunks are ready for sleeping.
The chapel is also packed for travel. We didn’t need any chairs in this one since it is a replacement chapel for Chilliwack, British Columbia.
There are supplies for Omaha, Nebraska. We’re visiting that chapel on Wednesday night – where Chaplains Dave & Laura Hertle and Wayne & Rita Foreman serve.
There are Bibles for Sioux Falls, SD. We expect to visit Chaplain Rallyn and Carolyn Van Beek on Thursday morning.
Cerwin backed the tractor under the chapel about 2:00 p.m. Monday…
and cranked up the dollies.
It’s nice the entire rig fits in the shop, now all we have to do on Tuesday morning is pull out.
~~~
But, we had one more party to celebrate…
This was the first time our schedules (Grandma Buch’s, Jere’s, and ours ) meshed to have cake and ice cream for Jana’s birthday.
I liked the crooked candles.
Jana did too.
~~~
Then it was time to get some sleep before the alarm went off at 2:45 a.m.
Pulling out of the shop at 4:30 this morning.
Our Route
Our goal is South Bend, Indiana, today.
