Mac, Mossy, and Mallie Here!

Sunday

Mac emerged while we were getting ready for Sunday School, and we knew the other two would probably emerge before we got home from church – and they did.

After getting home from church, we quickly loaded supplies into the car for Cerwin’s mother’s 90th Birthday party – then took the three butterflies outside one-by-one.  I barely had time to photograph Mac before…

…she took off to the skies.

Finally another boy!  Notice the black “dots” on Mossy’s tail wings that tell me it is a male.  He and…

…Mallie’s wings were entirely too wet for flying.  (It would be another hour or two before they were dry.)

Like yesterday, because we were going to be away for the day, I took them outside and placed them on a flower…

…so they could dry their wings, then fly away at their leisure.
