Lunch with Arlene and Velma
These women came into my life following the death of my aunt and mother. Arlene (left) married my uncle after his wife (my mother’s sister) died in her early 40s. Velma (center) married my dad following the death of my mother in 1974. Both have been twice widowed, but, despite painful memories, neither has stopped living life to the full.

This is what the Quebec chapel looked like one week ago.
Several days later – after painting – it looked like this.
When Cerwin picked it up at the sign shop this evening – the French lettering was complete.
Pray that everything will fall in place for it’s delivery to the truck stop in Quebec early next week.
