A Day With Four Granddaughters
Saturday Continued
A day with these four always means a visit to Park City near Lancaster ~ at least if they are given a choice.
Diana, Jana, and Gloria occupied some time on the escalator in Penny’s while Jenna shopped for shoes.
Two Watermelon & Two Strawberry Slushies
Lunch in the Food Court always means they each need a quarter (or two) for dessert at the candy and gum machines.
Heading to the car ~ which was farther away than we planned ~ because Grandma forgot where she parked.
The girls kept telling me we were leaving at the wrong exit. They were right!
Next stop was bowling.

Please, Grandma, can we each have a quarter for a gumball?
The day closed with supper, baths, and getting them back to their parents by taking them to church for the final Saturday of revival meetings.

A Saturday evening highlight for Cerwin and me was meeting Xanga friend ~ prufewreader and his wife.
When Bill left a message a few days ago, saying they were coming to our area and would be attending church on Saturday evening, we agreed to meet a few minutes early to get acquainted. It was fun to finally meet, after months of being in contact through Xanga. We agreed to meet again, with more time to visit.

Another neat thing happened following the evening service. A visitor who was sitting in back of us asked if we only have daughters! What fun to tell her that they are granddaughters. ![]()

A few final notes from messages by Craig Alan Myers
When God calls ~ be prompt to obey.
Faithful obedience is for the long-haul and cannot be done in thirty-minute time slots.
Determination to see it through with God will see you through.
Stick to Jesus like “Gorilla Glue”.
When God asks you to obey ~ He takes care of the details.
