Driving to Maine

We left home just before 5:30 a.m.

Pennsylvania Sunrise – in the Scranton area.

There is an area in NY where we almost always see deer – and weren’t disappointed today.

I had a busy few months, and decided to just relax today – sometimes I work on my laptop when we travel.  Today I enjoyed the scenery, talking to Cerwin, and playing Sorry and Uno.

We also had fun listening to our new GPS unit telling us about the upcoming route, where to turn, etc.  I told Cerwin that he now has to listen to two women when he travels!

We didn’t need the GPS unit to tell us we were traveling north.  By the time we were in northern Conneticut we began seeing snow.

We arrived at Myers’ – our “destination” according to GPS – shortly after 3 p.m.

I took this sunset picture from their back yard.
