Truck Show – Wednesday
We arrived at the Louisville Expo Center in the late morning, and proceeded to find our vendor space and unload Gary’s van.
Pearl with her load.
We are in the West Wing Pavilion
The building is carefully prepared for vendors, with boxes, tables, and supplies everywhere.
Cerwn lays the carpet squares in TFC’s 10′ x 10′ spot.
Shortly after arriving at our spot, we noticed a roof leak, so maintenance came to cover the leaks with a tarp and hose.
Then it was time to go outside and check out the truckers who came early.
Every one is polishing, waxing, and detailing their trucks.
Cerwin was pleased to talk to Bryan Martin of Chrome Shop Mafia.
As usual, they have a beautiful rig.
Gary and Cerwin were interested to see that this one was painted to make the joints look rusty.
Pearl, Gary, and Cerwin walk to the main entrance for a meeting with other truck stop ministries.
Joe Hunter, Truck Stop Ministries welcomes everyone.
Jerry and Sharon Benson open with a song.
Frank Basinger, Psalm 40 Ministries, closed with a song – after we spent time in introductions.
The day ended with a beautiful Louisville sunset.
We stopped at a Target to get a few supplies, and at first thought these geese were artificial, but we decided this pair was taking care of eggs.
