Eating

It’s been a busy week, so I haven’t had time to take a lot of photos ~ or adjust them for my blog.  However, when I went through the ones I did take, it looked like all we did was eat!

Sunday

Since Kristen is still in the hospital, we took their four children, plus Abigail and Hezekiah (from Maine) to Sunday school and church.

The pain in Kristen’s hip has not subsided, and the conclusion is that it is caused by the size of the baby – due to previous hip joint surgeries.  Doctors will preform a C-Section as soon as the baby’s lungs are ready for birth – possibly tomorrow.

BABY UPDATE AT 8:30 AM Friday

He is not quite ready for delivery.  Doctors will do the test again in a few days.

After church, Abigail stemmed strawberries.

The rest of us prepared the patio with tables, chairs, and food.

Notice the toy hammer to the right of Jared.  He takes it with him wherever he goes when visiting our house!

Since we were planning to visit Cerwin’s mother, we took her out for supper at a nearby restaurant.  Our niece, Megan, (Mother’s great granddaughter) works in the kitchen.  It was fun to see her.

Afterwards we went to Mother’s house, where I reconciled her May bank statement, and Cerwin looked over some of her recent paperwork.

Tonight

Chaplain Tom and Janis Kemp were at my office in the late afternoon to do the layout and design of their next newsletter.  Since they were here until 5:30, we decided to got to a local restaurant for supper.

I loved my cup of tomato soup.

We went to a rather unique, local restaurant that serves awesome food.  I had a fried oyster sandwich and a cup of delicious tomato soup.

For the locals:  It was the Pantry in Lititz.
