Ice & A Christmas Dinner
We woke up to beautiful, icy scenery this morning.
By the time church was over, the roads were wet, but many trees were still covered with ice.
We arrived at Midway Reception Center for a family Christmas dinner a bit early…
…so I had time to take a picture of the ice-covered tree near the entrance door.
We had delicious food, and a great time visiting with Cerwin’s aunts, uncles, cousins, and their families. I think there were about a hundred in attendance.

“Oh, No. Here comes Grandma with her camera!”
I like Aunt Debi.
Great-grandma High is ninety years older than me.
Dad is asking Great-grandma to pose with the rest of my family.
Jana, Josh, and Ian are pretty happy about getting their picture taken, but Jared is not happy at all – and I am tired of looking at Grandma’s camera.
Now Dad has grandma’s camera.
Grandma, Mom, Jared, Ian, Great Aunt Patti (holding me), and her daughter-in-law, Leslie.

By the time we headed home, the sun was out and the ice was beginning to melt from the trees.
If you look closely, you can see that the mountain is still ice-covered.
We had a gorgeous sunset to close our day.

I hope you have a great pre-Christmas week.
