Pet Day At Jesse’s Preschool
May 2
Preschool children, pets, teachers, parents, and older siblings gathered in the parking lot on a beautiful Thursday morning.
Jesse was excited because he had asked Aunt Debbie to bring four of her unusual pets and rescued animals.
Someone’s pet dog.
A hamster
This girl didn’t bring a pet, but told about an animal she had at home.
A cute dog
A fish named Abraham

The teacher asked Jesse and Deb to wait until last because of their unusual critters.
Presley the Raccoon

Reid the Baby Squirrel
Annie the Prairie Dog
Keebler the Skunk
Then it was time to touch the animals.
The children loved Deb’s animals, since most had never touched a raccoon, squirrel, skunk, or prairie dog.
Introducing a dog and prairie dog.
The girl holding Annie is an older sibling to one of the preschool children. I think this picture is cute, as she is holding the dog back, and the prairie dog looks like he is also pushing the dog back.
When the other teachers heard about Deb’s animals, they asked if she would meet them at the play ground – after Jesse’s preschool class was finished – and tell the other students about her rescued animals.
