Birthday Breakfast in Maine on New Year’s Day
This breakfast casserole was made with left-over bread, eggs, and some ham and ham broth from Christmas.
It was yummy.
I brought these bread twists along from home.
I bought them (frozen) from a granddaughter who was selling them for a fundraiser.
They come ready-made, but must raise overnight, and when baked are light and fluffy – and delicious.
After brunch Diane opened the cards and gifts from the children.

It was a cold morning.
I think this is the morning when the temperature hit zero. We saw that number several mornings.
The lowest temperature while we were there was -2.
Some beautiful icicles designed by the afternoon sun.
After the brunch dishes were in the dishwasher – close to noon – we headed to L.L. Bean.
