You know you are at the Flagship Store when you see this huge boot.

You never have to worry about these unique doors being locked as they are open twenty-four hours a day, 365 days a year.

From the internet: L.L. Bean has been a fixture on Main Street in Freeport, Maine, since it opened shop there 95 years ago in 1917. The locks on the doors were removed in 1951 when the decision was made to keep the store open 24 hours a day year-round. Today, more than 3 million shoppers visit L.L. Bean in Freeport each year.

I love checking out the large variety of things and clothing this store sells.

This beautiful scene captured my attention as I walked toward the hunting and fishing section of the building.

If I had only enough time to shop in one building, it would the the Home Store.

This is where you can find unique home furnishings, food, and decorations.

A winter trip to Maine feels complete after three things have been accomplished.

1. Spending lots of time with our family

2. Worshipping at their church

3. Shopping at L. L. Bean.

Diane thinks that I should add a fourth – snow – because it always seems to snow when we are there for the New Year – and that is true.
