Asian Market ~ HomeTown Buffet ~ Birthday Cake
New Year’s Day
After leaving L.L. Bean, we headed toward Portland where Elizabeth wanted to visit an Asian Market. (It’s on the right.)
I enjoyed seeing the unusual array of meat and vegetables.
Elizabeth spent several months in Thailand last year, so these things that were unusual to me were common to her.
The middle package is chicken feet. (We didn’t buy any!)
Mangos on the left, small Asian eggplants in the middle, and long purple Asian eggplants on the right.

After this the men went home (we were in two vehicles) and the ladies spent an hour in the Maine Mall. That was fun!

When we got home, Diane opened the birthday present from Deb (her sister).
The bag was full of lots of things.

The yummy birthday cake was our evening snack.
A big bite!
It would be difficult to find a blueberry cake better than this.
