A School Day
Monday, January 28
This is what it looked like when Cerwin took Jana, Ian, and Jared to their bus stop.
While they were at school Elizabeth made a white cake so Ian could do the fun part when he got home.
After poking holes in the cake, he poured lime Jello over it,and then refrigerated it until supper time.
During breakfast Jared asked if he could make the two designs on the back of the box.
I told him that he could work on it after school – and he didn’t forget.
Jesse goes to preschool and showed me the three words he learned: First, Next, and Last.
Before supper the boys did some reading.
Ian and Jared took turns reading from this book – which I love.
It was Jesse and Ian’s turn to help with supper.
Ian made his favorite food – buttered noodles.
When he browns the butter, I make sure it is in a deep kettle so it doesn’t accidentally cook over.
Jesse putting ice cubes in the cups. (Yes, he washed his hands first.)

It was a great day!
