Lunch & The Chapel for Calgary
Wednesday January 30 & Thursday January 31
Elizabeth, Jesse, and I straightened up the house while Cerwin did some shopping for the TFC chapel he is building – before leaving for lunch with the Sauder cousins.
It was fun for us to have our oldest and youngest grandchildren at this lunch.
Cerwin’s mother (center – facing the camera) was the only aunt at this lunch.
It is delightful to have lunch with Cerwin’s cousins and their spouses.
I love living in the country!
While waiting for the bus to bring Ian and Jared home, I enjoyed watching these neighbor men visit for several minutes before another vehicle interrupted them.
Jesse is delighted to have “his boys” home again.
Thursdays are usually busy with chapel construction as this is when several volunteers come from Living Waters Chapel near Lebanon, PA.
They are making good progress as they transform an ordinary freight trailer into a chapel.
The guys are making sure to use plenty of insulation so chaplains and drivers will stay warm during Calgary’s winters.
