Opening Day – Thursday, March 22
Mid-America Trucking Show
Louisville, Kentucky
This little pass got us right through the gate.
Gary, Pearl, Larry, Hank, and Cerwin praying before the opening of the show. (I was also praying while taking the photo.
)
This custom-built pickup truck was one of Cerwin’s favorites. We could see it from our vendor booth when the room wasn’t full of people.
Since all six of us were at the vendor booth, I decided to take a walk to North and South Halls.
It is difficult to describe the size of these halls. It is easy to loose your sense of direction – at least for me. At one point I was trying to look for an exit door, and had no idea where it was, so went to an outside wall and walked around until I found one.
A driving simulator.

The Michelin Man was walking around and talking to people in his area.
I went here hoping to see my favorite Kenworth salesman – Bill Burns.
Shortly after finding him, friends from church, Jon and Linnea arrived in the area.
I also looked up R.H. Sheppard to see who was there, because they are coworkers with Roy. They remembered me from last year as Roy’s mother-in-law, and Deb’s mother.
I loved this little customized pickup truck. It was made by the little boy’s father.

More tomorrow night.
