Another Bird Bath Bather

 

 

I watched this mourning dove for a few minutes, and thought, “It is getting ready for a bath.”

 

 

I think it was aware that I was watching.

 

 

Here goes!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It must have felt good to be splashing in water on a hot afternoon.

 

 

At this point it just jumped up in the air and flapped its wings.

 

 

Cleaning its wet feathers

 

 

 

 

Bathtime is over.
