Fiftieth Birthday Party for Rod

Derek’s Visit From Texas

After Jesse’s birthday party, we went to Rod’s party.

Rod is our nephew through marriage – his wife, Dorretta, is the daughter of Cerwin’s sister Velda.

 

 

 

 

Their daughter, Megan, made sure there were lots of signs emphasizing the fact that her dad is getting old.

The next day we spent the afternoon visiting with my family at Dale (my brother) and Dot’s house because Derek was visiting from Texas.

Best friends!

Andi, Kate, Jessie, and Laura spent a lot of time together when they were little girls, and love when all four of them are together. Andi, Kate, and Laura are sisters, and Jessie is their cousin. They are daughters of my brothers Clair and Steve.

 

 

Grandma Anne loves taking care of Rob and Jessies baby Elyse.

Grandma Anne was babysitting Elyse yesterday and walked across the woodlot to show her to me since she was wide awake.

 

 

We are praying that she will soon be a permanent member of our family.
