Straw Market & Street Scenes

Looking back at our massive home for the week of January 28 to February 4.

 

 

It takes several large land anchors to tie down a cruise ship. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jeff was the first one in our family to spend time bartering with a salesperson who captured his attention outside the straw market. He thought he got a good deal.

 

 

Cerwin bartering with a man inside the market.

 

 

While he bartered, I noticed some pretty flowers outside the building.

 

 

 

 

Palm trees abound in the area.

 

 

 

 

 

 

This man standing next to Cerwin got my attention by calling, “Madam, are you a Christian?” When I said, “Yes, I am.” He said, “I knew it! I can see it in your eyes!”

Don’t you love when people can see Jesus in your eyes? And I wasn’t doing anything spiritual, just making sure to keep my purse and camera safe from pickpocketers.

 

 

 

 

I enjoyed watching the very dapper Nassau policemen.
