Outside Our Window
We’ve had so much rain, heat, and humidity in the past few weeks, it feels like a rainforest.
I love this time of year because there are lots of butterflies feeding on the nectar of the butterfly bush.
Because of the heat, I have been changing the hummingbird sugar water more than usual.
I miss watching the horses and mules across the road since our Amish neighbor hired someone else to work his fields and bring in the harvest.
The birds seem to appreciate when I put some black oil sunflower seeds in this tiny bucket.
The squirrels also seem to like this tiny seed buffet.
This dove was feeding on seeds that dropped from the feeders onto this bush.
The other night, just before going to bed, I turned on the porch light to see if there were any critters eating in our feeding area. At first I thought it was a cat because I only saw white.
A foggy morning.
