The Drive to Yosemite

Saturday, August 27

 

 

There were interesting views around each turn as we drove toward Yosemite on Saturday Afternoon.

 

 

 

 

 

The afternoon temperatures varied slightly between 95 degrees and 101 degrees as we went through valleys and over hills.

 

 

 

 

A winding, upward road over which we had just traveled.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We saw signs of the controlled burn that was going on as we approached Yosemite.

We are up early today (September 1) to travel to Maine. I will post the pictures from Yosemite tonight – after we arrive at our daughter and son-in-law’s house.
