Saying Goodbye to Hannah
Wednesday, August 31
Because this is Hannah’s last full day of her summer stay with us, she and I had manicures and pedicures before going to The Brick House (Manheim) for lunch.
Entering from the garden side.
We chose to eat outside because it was a beautiful afternoon.
Hannah at our table
The waterfall added to the relaxing atmosphere.
The other side of our table.
Looking back on the path over which we had just traveled.
The arbor overhead.
I was facing the greenhouse.
Hannah’s lunch – chicken quesadilla
My chicken/grape salad was incredibly delicious.
I enjoyed seeing the garden behind the greenhouse.

For supper – Chris and Kristen planned a farewell meal for her – at Jeff & Chris’ house.

Chris checking the sausage.
The smallest people’s table – Jess, Ian, Gloria, and Jared.
Hannah and neighborhood grandma, Mary Jane
Jeff is building a new truck – out of two trucks – and was anxious to show it to us.
I especially like the bed – stainless steel and wood. Nathan (Jeff & Chris’ son) did a fabulous job on the steel fabricating.
Building a truck fascinates me.
