~~ Truck Show At Jason’s Shop ~~

Telford, Pennsylvania

Saturday, September 17 ~ Part 1 of 4

1st (1)

We had the honor of staying with Jason (right) and his family overnight – following the banquet the night before. In this photo Jason and a friend are busy getting ready for the 2:00 p.m. truck show.

About an hour later Renita had possession of the “mule” and took eight children for a ride.

1st (3)

Their sons Bryce and Brandt enjoying pizza for lunch. Brandt wanted to pose with a potato chip “french fry” in his mouth.

1st (4)

Bryce was struggling with a allergic reaction to something – the reason for the red skin around his eyes. He had just come home from the doctor who ordered a prescription.

1st (5)

Brandt kept the french fry in his mouth for this shot as well.

1st (6)

Their daughter Brooklyn was my guide when we walked from their house to the shop where the truck show would be held. The shop is on the other side of the grey barn.

This driver was one of the first to arrive, and is doing a final polish on his truck.

Do you see the truck stacks in this lettering. I thought that was quite creative.

1st (10)

Cerwin went to the location of last night’s banquet early on Saturday morning, and brought the chapel to the shop. He and Jason wanted to make sure he had access to this parking spot before other trucks arrived.

1st (11)

Set up and ready for visitors.

1st (12)

Brooklyn watching some of the activities.

Harry and Jodi Sensenig  who are coaches for Take Shape For Life here had a display in the shop. They are partners with Transport For Christ, and offer truckers (or anyone) a healthy way to live. The thing that got my attention was the five-pound blob of “plastic” fat (left). I wouldn’t have wanted to carry that around all day.

1st (14)

My friend Penny wanted to pose with them.
