Working Again

Thursday, October 20

This was the first time this week that I worked beyond my La-Z-Boy. It was good to be doing something a bit more physical, but I was exhausted by the time the Highway News was ready for the post office.

We were grateful for the help of Julia, Joanne, Rachel, and Glenn.

Glenn and Rachel were helping with a fundraiser at Pleasant View Retirement Community, and brought each of us a sub and a whoopie pie. (We ate the delicious whoopie pies before I thought of taking a picture.)

Two subs make two meals for us. I only need 1/3 and Cerwin is satisfied with 2/3 of the sub.
